Kaya Black Shows A More Intimate Side On New Rendition Of “Everything to Me”

Kaya Black returns with his undeniably original and unique sound on his new single “Everything To Me.” Kaya’s deep riveting voice glides through the track like the seasoned vet that he is. The song has elements of reggae, pop and gospel which meshes together to make an amazing song. Kaya’s goal was to add a gospel feel, while maintaining the reggae vibe.

Grammy Nominated Producer Tyler Cain and Grammy Award Winning Producer/Mixing Engineer J-Vibe definitely came through with the help of additional instrumentation from Prentiss Alajuwan Payee Yancy (Bass), Jon “Smoke” Lucas (Drums) and Background Vocals from William Cersle Keenan II & Camesia Ramey. Having worked with some of Jamaica's most sought-after producers and engineers and some of Nashville's notable musicians, Kaya always pours his soul into any song that he creates.

“Everything To Me” is no different as Kaya sings about wishing he could see a faraway lover that he wants to console and embrace. A lover that was his best friend. A lover that he caused some pain and drove away. But despite it all, he still longs for that lost connection. She is simply everything to him and he has no problem showing it in the song. It's almost as if you can feel the love Kaya has for the lucky lady that inspired this song. An undeniably unconditional love.

Kaya’s consistency has never wavered as he’s released multiple singles all throughout the pandemic. He's even charted twice recently with cover songs “Lonely No More” and “Easy". This time around he bears his inner most feelings on a remake of one of his most popular releases. This version of “Everything To Me” is very different from the up-tempo original, but we are 100% OK with this more intimate rendition. Tune in to Kaya for some simple and refreshing reggae that is sure to make you vibe out.
